JACK FRANK
Jack Frank was born April 17, 1925.
With WWII in progress, he entered the
U.S. Army on October 4, 1943. He
received training as a truck driver and
mechanic at Fort Bragg, North Carolina
before shipping out overseas.
Jack served with the 1142nd Engineer
Combat group and was a part of the
campaigns in Ardennes, Rhineland, and
central Europe. Following the surrender
of Japan, he was stationed in Okinawa
from September 14, 1945 to January 14,
1946. He was discharged on January
24, 1946 at Fort Bragg.
Now in his 90's, Mr. Frank resides in
Lexington, North Carolina.
