Nigerians have heavily blasted the
Afrobeat icon, Timaya for grumbling
about the sudden high cost of petrol in
Nigeria.
Timaya snubbed pressure and performed
alongside his colleagues at Bola Ahmed
Tinubu’s inauguration even though his
fans never supported such.
He was reported to be paid about a tally
of 10 million which thrust an electrifying
performance he deployed to the interest
of his audience during the Inauguration.

Despite the beauty of the performance,
Timaya was quick to identify his
displeasure with the sudden cost of
petrol after Tinubu announced the
expulsion of fuel subsidy.
Via his Twitter handle, he simply tweeted:
“No fuel for my moto”
Reacting to this, Nigerians urged him to
embody the challenge with the 10 million,
he made from the inauguration. The
singer, however, showed no remorse as
the saga continued to trail.
