Ace rapper, Jude Abaga, fondly known as M.I
has called on other Nigerian tribes to join
hands with the Igbos amidst the unrest in the
eastern part of the country.
Following the invasion by unknown gunmen
and the horrendous killings of the Igbos in the
east (Imo State, Orlu LGA), M.I Abaga took to
Twitter to plead with other Nigerian tribes to
stand with the Igbos in this unpleasant time
as the Federal government is yet to intervene.
The 39-year-old artist who hails from the
northern part of Nigeria encouraged Netizens
to voice their solidarity with the Igbos by
tweeting about the injustice.
According to him, the Igbos can’t fix the years
of hurt, but other Nigerians can help heal the
igbos if they stand with them to make right
the wrongs done to them.
All of us non igbo Nigerians should make
tomorrow a day of solidarity to stand with our
Igbo brothers and sisters.. we cannot fix years
of hurt.. but we can with one voice say “we
are one.. we are together!!!”
Even if na only me do am I go do am
What # could we use?

The narrative that “Nigeria hates Igbo people”
is an outdated context that will leave with the
old and bitter generation
Today let us stand with our Igbo family and
say #IAmIgboToo #Ozoemena ????
