Kano Authorities Bans Films Displaying Kidnapping, Drug Habit

Following the rising crime price, the Kano Movie Censorship Board has positioned a ban on displaying or promoting motion pictures portraying vices comparable to drug dependancy, kidnappings, and telephone snatching within the state. The Board Government Secretary, Ismaila Naaba Afakallah, mentioned the ban has develop into a necessity to curb these vices. He mentioned: “Henceforth, we is not going to enable movies displaying Kidnappings, drug dependancy and GSM telephones snatching which has now taken toll on Kano residents.” Afakallah defined that the measure was aimed toward curbing the menace and lowering the opportunity of younger folks adopting prison acts.
