Angry Mob Beats Man to Death For Killing His Friend Who is Secretly Sleeping With His Girlfriend In Lagos ( Photo )

A mob in Oshodi , Lagos has beaten a man to death. It was gathered that the 35 - year- old man , identified as Segun Afuye was beaten to death by an angry mob in Oshodi , Lagos State , for allegedly stabbing his friend , Elewure Sodiq , 37 , to death over a girl. The unfortunate incident happened on Wednesday, March 24 , while the duo were drinking at a bar in the area . It was gathered that Segun discovered that Sodiq was allegedly having an affair with his girlfriend , identified simply as Kafayat , and had confronted him at the bar . It ’ s unclear what ensued between them , but Segun was said to have stabbed Sodiq on his neck with a broken bottle . He died on the spot . The incident was said to have angered the mob who seized him and started beating him immediately . Police were said to have been called to the scene but , unfortunately , he died before they arrived .
