This follows a recent controversy which sparked a massive protest by the university students as the EFCC had reportedly arrested 69 students of the institution during a raid on some student hostels in Ile-Ife.
In a press release signed by the Head, Media and Publicity, EFCC, Dele Oyewale and issued on Tuesday, the defendants were arraigned before Justice Nathaniel Ayo-Emmanuel of the Federal High Court, Osogbo, Osun State for their alleged involvement in internet fraud. The suspects were arraigned on different count charges, ranging from one to six charges as preferred against them by the EFCC.
